The Weather:

       Patagonian weather is extremely variable. During our season, from October to April, the temperature varies between 40°F (5°C) and 80°F (27°C). The annual rainfall varies between 108" on the coast and 20" in the drier interior. When the famous winds of Patagonia blow through this región they are usually isolated and we can always accomodate   the situation. Generally Patagonia is comfortable, but bear in mind that you may need both rain-gear and sunblock...


Equipment:

- Clothing: Waterproof/ Windproof jacket with hat or hood.
- Warm socks.
- Thermal/ long underwear.
- Light gloves.
- Sun gear; hat, sun-block, lip balm, bandana (neck).
- Fishing: 2 rods, weights #5 to #8 (#6 most useful).
- Lightweight chest waders and gravel guards.
- Polarized sunglasses.
- Lines: floating, sink-tip, sinking (weight-forward).
- Leaders and tippet material (1x to 5x).
- Floatant.
- Splitshot lead weights (small).

- Sedge patterns #12-16 (e.g. Elk Hair Caddis).
- Royal Wulff #8-14.
- Humpy #10-14.
- Black Ants (incl. parachute) #14-18.
- Hoppers (Dave's, parachute) #4-10.

- Woolly buggers and Crystal buggers #2-12 (black, brown, green and white).
